About
Built for owners, operators, and lenders who need the same plant truth.
A renewable asset accumulates stakeholders the moment it's financed — owner, operator, lender, insurer, EPC, O&M contractor, independent engineer. LumeTrax® is the operating layer they all read from, so the conversation stops being about whose number is right.
A renewable asset accumulates stakeholders the moment it's financed.
The operator runs it. The asset owner reports on it. The lender funds it. The insurer covers it. The contracted O&M team maintains it. The independent engineer reviews it. Most operating tools were built for one of those roles. The others have to translate.
LumeTrax was built so the translation isn't necessary. One unified platform. One tenant hierarchy. Module-by-module activation: Core for supervisory control, Asset Manager for workflow, Vision for performance analytics, Optimizer for hybrid dispatch, Audit & Assurance for independent technical review. Every module reads the same plant.
No reconciliation theatre between four vendor portals and three Excel models.
Stakeholders who need the same plant truth — at the same time.
| Stakeholder | What they need from LumeTrax |
|---|---|
| IPPs · developers · large C&I asset owners | One tenant for the whole portfolio · multi-OEM consolidation · DSCR-relevant operating evidence · faster decisions on hybrid dispatch and asset-level intervention |
| Lenders · insurers · investors | Audit-ready evidence packs · weather-normalized performance against PPA · classified downtime by attribution · period-over-period comparability across the same template |
| EPCs · third-party O&M contractors | Workflow-driven alarm response · SLA tracking · contractor-scoped access without seeing other clients' plants · spares + warranty + downtime evidence trail |
| Plant operators | Real-time supervisory control · engineering-grade alarm philosophy · historian sized for analytics · OT/IT boundary that protects the asset |
Six engineering principles. Six architectural constraints.
What LumeTrax is, in six lines.
Vendor-agnostic by architecture
The platform connects to every major inverter, BESS, switchgear, tracker, and DG ecosystem over the protocols those ecosystems publish: Modbus, IEC 61850, SunSpec, MQTT, OPC UA, OEM APIs. New ecosystems are added when the field needs them. We will never lock a customer to a vendor stack we happen to have a partnership with this year.
Industrial before cosmetic
Real supervisory control, engineering-grade alarm philosophy, and an audit trail that reconstructs what happened are first-order. Dashboard polish is fourth-order. We will never trade the first three for the fourth.
Portfolio-ready from day one
Multi-plant aggregation under one tenant is built in, not bolted on. The tenant hierarchy is the same on screen one as on screen one-thousand-and-one. Adding a plant doesn't mean a second instance, a second contract, or a second login.
Operationally useful, not theoretically impressive
The platform is shaped around the actual decisions operators, owners, and lenders make — alarm response, downtime classification, loss attribution, dispatch optimisation, lender reporting. Features that look impressive on a screenshot but don't change a real decision don't ship.
Financial-grade by methodology
Operating metrics are computed to the level a debt covenant was written at. Sourced to the historian record they came from. Exportable in the format a lender or insurer expects. The phrase 'best-effort availability' doesn't appear anywhere in the platform.
Non-intrusive ecosystem posture
LumeTrax sits inside the multi-stakeholder reality of a renewable plant — owner, IPP, third-party O&M contractor, lender, EPC. It runs underneath all of them as the operating layer. The same platform supports owner teams, contracted O&M operations, and multi-stakeholder project environments — without the platform itself stepping into any of their roles.
The architectural commitment that wraps the rest
Mission-critical control stays inside the deterministic SCADA boundary. Always.
Supervisory control, interlocks, and safety-critical command sequencing live in the OT layer — SCADA, PLC, RTU, on-site controller — where determinism is provable. Analytics, workflow, optimization, and assurance run above that boundary, in shared platform services. Useful, valuable, sometimes intelligent — but never the layer protecting the asset.
Adding a feature on the platform side never compromises the deterministic side. We've made that a hard architectural rule, not a soft preference.
The reason a buyer can share their portfolio data without flinching
Independence isn't a slogan. It's a structure.
The renewable-energy industry has plenty of platform offerings owned by parties whose other businesses overlap with their customers' interests. Each of those situations works for the offering's owner — and creates a structural risk for the customer who shares operating data into it. LumeTrax is built differently.
Neutral by business model
LumeTrax earns from one thing: software subscriptions and engagement fees. The platform doesn't develop assets, build them, finance them, or step into the counterparty role on operating contracts. Your operating data underwrites your decisions — and never sits inside someone else's pitch for your next project.
Open by architecture
Customer data belongs to the customer. Tenant data is segregated by architecture. No cross-tenant benchmarking without consent. No commercial use of customer data outside contracted scope.
Financial-grade by methodology
Every operating claim is traceable to time-stamped plant data, classified events, documented assumptions, and exportable evidence packs.
Concrete commitments, not soft governance
Customer data belongs to the customer. We're committed to that — in the website and in the contract.
The seven commitments — verbatim in the customer DPA / MSA.
- 01Customer data belongs to the customer.
- 02Tenant data is segregated by architecture.
- 03LumeTrax does not share plant-level data with OEMs, EPCs, O&M contractors, lenders, or affiliates unless explicitly authorised by the customer in writing.
- 04Cross-portfolio benchmarking is opt-in and anonymised.
- 05Commercial teams do not access customer operating data except for contracted support, audit, or advisory scope.
- 06LumeTrax does not resell or license customer operating data to any third party.
- 07Where LumeTrax software is installed, Audit & Assurance reports distinguish measured data, calculated outputs, assumptions, and reviewer judgment — sources are not blended.
Built by renewable-energy engineers and software operators focused on real-asset operating data.
We won't list a team page until we have a story to tell that does the platform justice. What we will say: LumeTrax is built by people who've felt the multi-portal frustration, the lender-evidence scramble, and the diesel bill that makes no sense. The platform is shaped around those problems, not around dashboard fashion.
When the team grows in a way that strengthens the platform's positioning, we'll say so here.
Public, current, and updated as each step closes.
Sequenced by what enterprise procurement actually asks for.
The foundation: ISO 27001, ISO 9001, internal secure SDLC aligned to IEC 62443-4-1, third-party penetration testing, and a published customer security pack. On the roadmap after that: SOC 2 Type II and ISO 22301. Project-specific certifications (DNV / TÜV / SGS, CE / UKCA / FCC / UL, NERC CIP regional readiness) are available on request, scoped per engagement.
Status updated on /security as each step closes. We don't claim a certification we don't hold.
