Pricing
Built for serious assets. Priced for them.
Indicative starting points for every module and every bundle. Audit & Assurance engagements priced per site. Enterprise tiers on quotation. LumeTrax® is sized to the asset — not to a tier table.
Capex on the gateway hardware where applicable. Subscription on the software. Engagement fees on the service.
Why we publish indicative starting prices when most enterprise platforms don't.
"Talk to sales" pricing makes sense when a product is so configurable that no two deals look alike. LumeTrax is configurable, but it's also patterned. Most utility-scale plants share enough commercial shape that publishing entry-tier numbers helps a serious buyer self-qualify before a sales call.
The figures below are indicative starting points, not list prices. They reflect what a single utility-scale plant or a small portfolio actually pays for the simplest deployment shape that tier covers. Enterprise tiers exist for portfolio scale, regulated environments, custom deployments, advanced compliance, and bespoke reporting. Those need a quotation, not a price sheet. The floor is published; the conversation starts from there.
Module pricing
Five modules. Three tiers each. Module-by-module activation.
| Module | Entry tier | Mid tier | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core — Industrial SCADA & plant control | Core Control — software from $2,500 / mo + edge-hardware capex sized in questionnaire | Core Command — software from $5,500 / mo + edge-hardware capex sized in questionnaire | Quotation |
| Asset Manager — Power-plant-native O&M workflow | Maintain Team — from $650 / mo | Maintain Portfolio — from $1,750 / mo (5 plants) + $250 / additional plant | Quotation |
| Vision — Performance analytics | Insight — from $900 / mo | Predict — from $2,400 / mo | Quotation |
| Optimizer — Hybrid EMS for PV + BESS + DG | Hybrid Control — from $2,000 / mo | Hybrid Revenue — from $4,800 / mo | Quotation |
| Audit & Assurance — Independent service | Site Review — from $7,500 / site | Bankability Review — from $18,000 / site | Quotation |
Indicative starting points only. Final pricing depends on plant architecture, integration scope, deployment model, support level, and portfolio size.
Core software is separated from edge-hardware capex by design. The $2,500/mo entry tier covers the software subscription. Industrial-grade gateway hardware, commissioning labour, and protocol-specific licensing are sized to the deployment in the questionnaire and capex'd to the project.
Audit & Assurance is sold per engagement, not per month. Optimizer requires Core. All other modules are independent.

Enterprise Portfolio
All modules at enterprise tier, with custom deployment, identity, compliance, and reporting. Suited for portfolio-scale owners, regulated environments, and lender-mandated reporting cadences.
Bundle pricing is below the sum of the included module entry prices — typically a 15–20% discount versus the equivalent module-by-module subscription, increasing for additional plants under the same tenant.
Add-ons.
| Add-on | Pricing | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Extra named users | range — quoted at engagement | Tier depends on subscription level and access scope |
| Viewer pack | range — quoted at engagement | Read-only access for stakeholders who don't need write authority |
| Contractor access | range — quoted at engagement | Scoped, audited access for a third-party O&M contractor or EPC |
| Branded mobile app | quotation | The standard mobile-responsive PWA is included with the platform |
| Additional plants under same tenant | 15–25% discount per plant (indicative) | Discount tier scales with plant count |
| Premium support | quotation | 24/7 coverage, named TAM, defined SLAs |
| Private / on-prem deployment | quotation | Single-tenant cloud, on-prem rack, or air-gapped environment |
| Custom integrations | quotation | OEM ecosystems or business systems outside the supported set |
Granular per-user / per-viewer pricing is quoted per deployment rather than published as a flat unit rate — different access scopes (read · supervisory · audit · API) and different deployment shapes materially change the right number.
What happens between "interested" and "deployed".
Most LumeTrax engagements run through a structured Core questionnaire — a six-section briefing that surfaces the technical and commercial variables a quotation depends on, before either side commits time to a proposal.
| Section | What we confirm |
|---|---|
| Client / portfolio | Who owns what; tenant structure; intended access topology |
| Plant technical scope | PV / BESS / DG capacity per site; substations; inverters; tracker; protection topology |
| Control scope | What's monitored; what's controlled; what's gated by interlock; what's left out of scope |
| Communications & integrations | Protocols available per asset; OEM portals in play; existing historian; business-system integrations |
| Cybersecurity & deployment | Cloud / private / on-prem; air-gap requirements; identity provider; data residency |
| Users & reporting | Roles; named users vs. viewers; contractor topology; reporting cadence and format |
| Commercial parameters | Subscription term; capex amortisation preference; payment cadence; currency |
Frequently asked questions
- The starting numbers represent the simplest deployment shape that each tier supports. Most production deployments land somewhere above the floor, depending on plant count, integration scope, deployment shape, redundancy, and support coverage. Calling them 'indicative' is honest about that — and qualifies the buyer before the demo.
- Core ships as software plus an industrial-grade edge gateway. The software follows a SaaS subscription model and prices cleanly per plant. The hardware is industrial control equipment — environmentally rated, redundant, sized to the plant — and follows the capex pattern industrial control equipment always has. Bundling them at a single list price would underprice complex deployments and overprice simple ones; separating them is honest and works for both ends of the range.
- Industrial-grade gateway controller, environmentally rated, sized to the deployment; commissioning labour; protocol-specific licensing where applicable. Sized in the Core questionnaire — not a fixed line item.
- Implementation is included for the standard scoping pattern of each tier. Custom integrations, regulated-environment deployments, and complex stakeholder topologies are sized at engagement and may carry implementation fees over the subscription. The questionnaire surfaces this before pricing is produced.
- Module subscriptions are typically per plant, with portfolio-discount logic for additional plants under the same tenant. Bundle pricing reflects multi-plant scope from the start. Audit & Assurance engagements are per site (or per engagement for portfolio reporting).
- Yes. The viewer-pack add-on covers read-only access for stakeholders who don't need write authority — lenders, auditors, IEs. Pricing is quoted per deployment depending on access scope and number of viewers.
- Because they aren't a number. Enterprise deployments are bespoke — multi-tenant identity, regulated data residency, custom report templates, custom integrations, defined SLAs, sometimes a private deployment. A list-price line for that scope would be misleading on either end. The Core questionnaire produces a defensible quotation in business days, not weeks.
- Yes. Module-by-module activation is the design intent. The same tenant unlocks additional capability when the contract changes — no re-deployment, no second instance.
- No. The product is enterprise infrastructure software for operating renewable assets — the relevant evaluation is a structured demo against your portfolio, not a self-serve sandbox. We start with a 30-minute call.
- Available under NDA at the appropriate point in the engagement. The Core questionnaire is the right entry point.
- USD list pricing. Local-currency invoicing is available; quoted at the engagement.
